You may be eligible to participate in the clinical trial:

  • If you are between 18 and 80 years of age
  • You have had longstanding persistent AF for less than 10 year
  • You have symptons such as dizziness, irregular pulse, weakness, chest discomfort
  • You have had to stop taking or change the dose or kind of medication for your AF

You are not eligible to participate:

  • If you need another cardiac surgery such as bypass graft or a heart valve repair or replacement
  • If you have had a previous catheter ablation for AF
  • If you have had a previous cardiac surgery
